This thread lists the DDR, ITG, Pump, and other dance game machines in Springfield and the surrounding area, which for now includes the Branson, Joplin, and Osage Beach areas. Each entry lists the price per set, # songs per set, other features of the game, and conditions of the game, as well as other games of interest that are in the arcade (for those fighting game, shooting game, or classic game enthusiasts, among others) Also, the physical address and hours are listed, as well as entrance fee/other requirements.

In cases where I lack concrete info (that is, I haven't been there or heard from anyone who has) whatever I can glean from other databases will be listed. To contact me about anything on this list, whether to add new info or contradict existing info, just PM me here on the forum. I still check it, I promise =P And then I'll update as soon as I can.

Springfield

Dance Dance Revolution Extreme

Price: Currently .50 for 3 songs.
Condition: Currently having problems with memory, keeps losing the unlocks and high score list. AFAIK, most employees are aware of the issue and will consent to have the code put in if the machine's wiped itself. Pads are both working and in decent condition--right is better than left, but both sides yield an occasional miss. Also, loading the song "On The Jazz" often causes slowdown.
Other Games of Interest: Tekken 5, Time Crisis 3, Soul Calibur II, Fighting Mania (may currently be broken)

In the Groove 2
Location: Campbell 16 Cinema

Hours: Depends on movie showtimes; machines usually are shut off around 11:00 at night, IIRC.
Price: 1.00/3 songs
Condition: No known issues with the pads. Volume was a little low.
Other Games of Interest: Time Crisis 3
Entrance Requirements: No purchase necessary, but there may be ticket-takers at the door--if there are, just say you're there for games and you should get the go-ahead.

Pump It Up New Xenesis
Location: Springfield's Incredible Pizza Company

Hours: Sun-Thurs 11:00-10:00, Fri-Sat 11:00-11:00 (game room hours-buffet closes an hour earlier than game room)
Price: 85 cents for 3 songs (they use a card system)
Condition: Bar on the left side is a little loose, otherwise the game is perfect.
Other Games of Interest: Tekken 5, Police Trainer 2
Entrance Requirements: No charge other than to put money on the game card; if you don't buy a buffet, they'll give you a paper wristband to wear around.

Pump It Up Exceed 2

Condition: Pads and machine itself seemed okay.

Entrance Requirements: Need more info. Ticket purchase for entry wasn't required when I went, but that was in the afternoon, and I've heard they ask at night.

Branson

Price: 1.00/3 songs
Condition: Pads are in bad shape. Some arrows seem to have one, maybe two working sensors. Bar on left side is loose, left/right arrows seem to be worst, but that's the better side. Right side's down arrow is pretty much dead.
Other Games of Interest: Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection, Time Crisis 3, Mario Kart Arcade GP, Ultracade in the back with lots of classics loaded (but like the redemption games, it takes quarters instead of the Namco tokens)
